According to the British press, the next generation 2018-2019 Land Rover Defender will go into production in the summer of .

The range of engines will include a 4-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines Ingenium, as well as some V6 engines.

The units will be paired with – 8- or 9-band automatic transmission, along with a manual transmission (its specifications are still unknown).
