2018-2019 Skoda Company has published additional materials on the “off-road” version of Rapid, presented at the Motor Show in Geneva in .
The model will go on sale next month.
High version of the car is based on the Octavia Combi and get recognizable design with a black plastic body kit, black moldings on the front and rear bumpers, 17-inch alloy wheels with tires 220/50 R17, silver protection plate in front of the bottom and the inscription «Scout» on grille.
Optionally available for additional protection of the underbody and roof rails “aluminum”.
Clearance Octavia Scout is increased to 171 mm, which is 31 mm higher than the standard clearance Octavia.
Interior new items will get the classic black or black-brown finish and 610-1740 liter luggage compartment.
Off-road modification “Octavia” is sold with 2-liter TDI with 184 hp, coupled to an automatic transmission with double-clutch (DSG) and all-wheel drive system.
It is noteworthy that this configuration will be used for the first time in a 2018-2019 Skoda car.
Fuel consumption on the combined cycle – 5.1 liters per 100 kilometers.
Also available is a version with a 150-hp 2.0 TDI. This engine works exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission. Flow – the same 5.1 liters per “hundred”.
The only petrol engine in the range will be the 1.8-liter 180-hp TSI, aggregated with 6-speed DSG transmission. Consumption – 6.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
