The third generation 2018-2019 BMW X5 was presented recently – about three years ago, but the Bavarian brand has begun testing a new generation of crossover.
Tightly camouflaged prototype seems to have gone on the evolutionary path of the current version of the SUV, saving the usual sizes.
Lack of experiments is easily explained by caution 2018-2019 BMW, as the X5 – the best-selling model of the brand, and nobody is going to change a successful formula.
Despite a similar exterior design, the next generation X5 will receive a new platform, which is also get 3 Series models and full-size X7.
The new architecture will be made of a combination of aluminum and high-strength steel, so it is expected that the weight of the car will be much lower than that of its predecessor.
Predict the range of engines is difficult. One can only assume that there will 4-, 6- and 8-cylinder engines.
In addition, the hybrid version is expected and “charged” modification of 2018-2019 BMW M.
The premiere of the new 2018-2019 BMW X5 will be held in 2018.
