The Australian branch of company 2018-2019 Toyota has officially unveiled a new frame SUV Fortuner, built on a pickup HiLux.
The new generation of seven-seat SUV has received a new design in the style of the “Hilux” with LED head lights, daytime running lights and LED rear optics (only top grade).
Dimensions: 4795/1855/1835 mm. Wheelbase – 2745 mm.
Suspension: Front double wishbone, rear – 5-link with coil spring (as opposed to HiLux with leaf spring).
The Australian version of the SUV will receive a new 4-cylinder 2.8-liter turbo direct injection 175 hp at 3400 rev / min.
Modification of the 6-speed manual transmission, develops 420 Nm of torque at 1600 rev / min and when using the new 6-band automatic transmission maximum torque increases to 450 Nm at 1400 rev / min.
As for towing capacities – the version with the “mechanics” can pull up to 3,000 kg, and with “automatic machine” – 2800 kg.

More expensive equipment additionally get keyless entry system in the cabin, engine start button, roof rails and an assistant during the descent.
The new generation of 2018-2019 Toyota Fortuner come to Australian dealers at the end of October this year.
