The German company 2018-2019 Volkswagen has brought to Switzerland conceptual crossover T-Roc, which in the future has the potential to become a production model.


T-Roc is a three-door ‘SUV’ three-dimensional grille, LED headlights and daytime running lights, which are also used as repeaters of indexes of turns.

Also crossover got a traditional plastic kit, muscular arches, 19-inch alloy wheels and a two-part hinged roof.

Angular interior boasts leather upholstery, blue metallic elements and the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.

In addition, the cabin has a separate folding rear seats and the display info-entertainment system, which can be extracted from the cell and used as a tablet.

VW T-Roc is driven by the efforts of a 2-liter 4-cylinder TDI with 184 hp (380 Nm), coupled with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and 4MOTION all-wheel drive system.

The unit will disperse crossover weighing 1.420 kg. up to a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 6.9 seconds. Maximum speed – 210 km / h. Average fuel consumption – 4.9 liters / 100 km.

In a recent interview with Automotive News, CEO Martin Winterkorn said that the very optimistic about the revenue prospects T-Roc in full-scale production.

‘We will ask our customers [to evaluate the model], and I’m sure they like the new crossover. If that happens – we will start its production “- said the CEO of the German company.

In the case of a positive decision, T-Roc will take place in the company’s model range between the future Taigun and the next generation of the Tiguan .
