The German company 2018-2019 Volkswagen has shown conceptual crossover Cross Coupe GTE on the eve of its public debut at the NAIAS Auto Show in Detroit.
The concept served as a prototype for a future production model, designed for the US market.
The design of the show car is possible to note the aggressive styling of the front of the aluminum grille and LED headlamps, as well as muscular arches, decorative glossy black accents, sloping roof, 22-inch aluminum alloy wheels and strict straight line profile.
Quintuple interior boasts seats with nappa leather semi-aniline finish, gloss black trim elements and aluminum accents.
Also in the salon Cross Coupe GTE has a digital instrument panel, touch screen display to control the climate control and infotainment system with 10.1-inch touchscreen.
The driving force behind the concept has become a hybrid propulsion system with a 3.6-liter V6 and two electric motors powered by lithium-ion batteries at 14.1 kWh.
