Taigun left-hand drive will be produced in the same in São Paulo, while the right-hand drive version of the ‘SUV’ will be collected at the VW plant in Pune (India). Germans are also considering the possibility to establish new items assembled in Kaluga.
The concept car uses a slightly elongated platform PQ12, which also underlies the sitikar 2018-2019 Volkswagen up !. The wheelbase has also been increased by 2 inches and is 2468 mm. Track width remains the same – 1427 mm at the front and 1422 mm for the rear wheels.
