After a series of accompanying teasers ( 1 , 2 ), the Japanese company 2018-2019 Nissan fully declassified a new generation of pickup Navara.
The latest truck model was significantly improved exterior design with original grille V-motion, range of chrome highlights and a sporty profile, and LED daytime running lights and turn indicators integrated into the door mirrors.
Among the new options for coloring the body appeared yellow «Savannah Yellow» and bronze «The Earth Bronze» with black B-pillar and chrome housings of the side mirrors.
The interior has also been completely redesigned obtaining improved materials and aluminum elements on the front panel, as well as TFT-LCD high-definition on the toolbar that provides access to the compass and navigation «turn-by-turn», radio, audio tracks and indicators of fuel consumption.
Filling the new “Navarra” boasts a new chassis out of high-strength steel with improved spring suspension designed to “take the brunt of daily intensive use.”
Also, the engineers were able to reduce the turning radius, which will increase the maneuverability of a pickup truck on a city street.
The range of engines appeared redesigned 4-cylinder 2.5-liter DOHC diesel engine in two power outputs – 163 hp (403 Nm) and 190 hp (450 nm).
Superior unit became 11% more economical than its predecessor.
2018-2019 Nissan will also offer an updated inline 2.5-liter “four”.
Both powerplants are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or 7-band automatic.
Wheel-drive system (with limited slip differential Active Brake Limited Slip) can be connected at any given movement, accompanied by a number of auxiliary systems such as Dynamic Stability Control, the shutter control system with the mountains and the help system when climbing slope.
