At the Motor Show in Paris, the Japanese companies 2018-2019 Mitsubishi will introduce a new hybrid crossover concept Ground Tourer (short – GT-PHEV).
Perhaps the show car will serve as a prototype for the fourth generation of the Outlander .
Judging from the published photos, the car received a “scissor doors’ narrow optics, as well as the relatively low level of the roof and the camera, instead of side mirrors.
2018-2019 Mitsubishi did not publish photos of the interior, limiting verbal description salon – Burgundy leather trim and horizontal center panel with integrated high center console.
The driving force was the GT-PHEV hybrid system consisting of three engines of unknown power.
The battery provides a cruising range of 120 kilometers when using the electric motor alone. When driving in hybrid mode Ground Tourer will be able to travel more than 1,200 kilometers.
Representatives of the company noted that the SUV has a permanent four-wheel drive – the internal combustion engine operates on the front axle and two electric motors transmit traction to the rear wheels.
GT-PHEV also received Super All Wheel Control proprietary system (S-AWC), which provides “a new level of stability and controllability” for the brand SUVs.
Public premiere Ground Tourer will take place in Paris.
