2018-2019 Lexus plans to produce three-row crossover


2018-2019 Lexus thinking about the possibility of adding three-row crossover in the lineup . This was reported by a representative of the Japanese company last week.

Currently 2018-2019 Lexus only sells one crossover in the US market – the RX . In the future it is planned to convert one frame SUVs LX or the GX (most likely) in the model with a monocoque body, with the aim to fit into future fuel economy standards of the government, plus build on its base of seven / eight-crossover.

“In the future, if we can create a 3-row crossover, I think buyers are very well met by this model” – said 2018-2019 Lexus Vice President of Marketing Brian Smith.

Smith also added that 2018-2019 Lexus in the near future has no plans to introduce diesel units for its cars in the US market.
