“Off-road” version of the 2018-2019 Fiat Panda city car will arrive in European showrooms in September.
Nearing release model, so the Italian manufacturer has decided to share the information with the public about its all-wheel drive mini, including an extensive photo gallery and some specifications.
Novelty has been built on the basis of Panda 4 × 4, having improved off-road capability in the form of all-wheel drive system with TOD system (torque distribution to each wheel, respectively, the coefficient of adhesion to the surface of each of them), the two differentials and the three modes of all-terrain movement (Auto, Off -road and Hill Descent Control).
2018-2019 Fiat Panda Cross will be available with two engines to choose from: a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel MultiJet II 79 HP power (190 Nm), as well as 2-cylinder TwinAir Turbo petrol volume 0.9-liter developing 89 hp and 145 Nm.
Last unit uses a 6-speed transmission with a shorter first gear. Fuel consumption on the combined cycle – 4.9 liters.
Diesel engine, in turn, consumes 4.7 liters of heavy oil for every 100 kilometers.
Furthermore, compared to 2018-2019 Fiat Panda 4 × 4, the novelty is the best entry and descent angles (24 ° / 34 °), and the ramp angle (+ 1 °).
